What has been given as the truest of all that has ever been written in Scripture? “God does not will that any soul should perish!” But man, in his headstrongness, harkens oft to that which would separate him from his maker!

Getting What Is Needed to Grow
Let each budget time. Let each give so much - for the necessary activities for the supplying of the needs in their relationships.
Based on Edgar Cayce reading 480-20
After Mark and Sandy had been married for a year, they came to a crucial decision-making point. They had both finished college, but they knew they needed advanced schooling to pursue their particular careers. They also wanted children. They had to decide which to choose first.
The advantages of going to school first could mean a better financial base upon which to raise a family. On the other hand, having a family while they were this age appealed to them. They opted to have children now.
Over the past 10 years this has meant struggling to keep life in balance. Mark is careful that he doesn't spend too many evenings away from home attending meetings or completing unfinished work at the office. This choice may have hurt his career advancement a bit, but that is not a major concern for him.
They both make sure they take time for each other and for their children. Spending hours at sports events, helping with homework, or chaperoning trips are acceptable aspects of their schedules. They watch school grades and behavior patterns to be sure the children aren't feeling neglected.
Their guiding ideal is to be sure that every member of the family gets what he or she needs to grow. This has not always been easy, but they have never regretted the choice they made.
APPLICATION: Do something to be sure that those you care for get what they need in order to grow.
