To express love in your activities to your neighbor is the greater service that a soul may give in this mundane sphere.
Based on Edgar Cayce reading 499-2
There once lived two brothers who shared equally the produce and profit of the farm their father had left them. One brother was happily married with two children; the other brother was still single. The single brother reasoned to himself, "I live by myself while my brother must support a family. I have no need of all the grain in my barn." So in the middle of the night he took a bag of grain from his barn and put it in his brother's barn.
Meanwhile the married brother reasoned, "I have a wife and children to look after me. My brother has no one to care for his future." So at night he would take a bag of grain from his barn and put it in his brother's barn.
Both were puzzled as to why for many years their grain supply did not diminish.
One night, as chance would have it, both left their barns at the same time and in the dark bumped into each other in the middle of the field. At first they were startled, but soon they realized what had been happening. They dropped their grain sacks and embraced.
God, looking down, thought, "On this spot I will build My Temple, for where people meet in love, there My Presence shall dwell."
APPLICATION: Do a loving act for a neighbor today.
