(Q) While carrying the child do thoughts and impressions have any effect on the child?
(A) To be sure. Thus, if surrounded with beauty, the more beauty there may be. Hast thou not read how that when Mary spoke to Elizabeth, the child leaped within the womb?

A Good Use of Time
Each shall so live that the Christ (through you) becomes available for all who meet you - whether at table or walking in the street.
Based on Edgar Cayce reading 262-50
At school Diane often has very little free time to herself. When she does, she wants to grade papers and get other work done. Often this time is interrupted by students and even former students wanting to come in and chat. She began to resent this intrusion on her time.
One afternoon Carol, a former student, came in as Diane was walking down the hall to a quiet room to get some papers graded. Carol obviously wanted to chat. Diane invited her in and half-listened while she graded papers and Carol talked. After about 15 minutes Diane nonchalantly asked about Carol's sister, trying to sound like she was interested in Carol's conversation. Carol said her sister had died the previous Sunday. That's why she had come in to see Diane.
Later on, Diane reflected on this experience. She realized God was telling her that people come to see her for a reason and part of her calling is to listen when they do. This experience changed Diane's attitude toward her students and other teachers taking up her free time.
APPLICATION: The next time you feel you are too busy to listen to someone, stop and listen.
