Eggs may be taken. These would be better were they coddled, not fried – not with grease, see, any time.
Daily Application of Selected Cayce Readings
A Trip to Hell
Opportunity depends upon the use of it. Every experience and condition are useful experiences, and these are either made as stumbling blocks or as stepping-stones.
Based on Edgar Cayce reading 1424-2
A woman had a dream in which a wise man came and told her she could see anything in the world that she desired. She decided she really didn't know what heaven and hell were like, so she asked to see these places.
Immediately she was conducted down below to a large banquet room. Long tables were piled high with food and the aroma was magnificent. All the residents of hell were seated at the table with fork in hand. They looked like normal people except that their arms no longer had elbows and so couldn't bend. Even though the food was there, they could not put their forks into their mouths. The cries of frustration and anger were intense.
Suddenly the woman was transported to heaven.
Strangely enough, she found herself in a similar banquet hall. The tables were also piled high with food and a magnificent aroma filled the room. As she looked, she saw that the people were in the same condition as in hell. They sat with fork in hand and had no elbows in their stiffened arms.
But instead of crying out in anger, the people were singing and laughing. These people were busy feeding each other across the table.
